This game has already been played recently (in New Orleans) and the Pelicans lost by 1 point WITHOUT Brandon Ingram. I fully expect a similarly tight matchup with both teams being similar built, offensively talented to do keep up scoring with eachothers offenses and playing at the slow pace in which warrants the expectation of a contest that doesn't end in a blowout like the matchup the Pelicans last had vs the Clippers, who have been more impressive with Kawhi and Paul George on the floor together (I HAVE A PICK ON THAT GAME AS WELL: CLIPPERS MONEYLINE). Jamal Murray is questionable to play too, which hurts the offense and playmaking for the Nuggets, who will have to rely on younger inexperienced talent and and Joker to distribute the ball rather than Jokic focusing on dominating offensively towards the basket. Overall the belief in the Pelicans defense, length of roster to defend the deep shot and force Denver to win in a different manner to combat the size of good shooting of The nuggets, gives me confidence they cover the spread.
