Oakland came close to winning last game in a low scoring matchup, but today they are starting JP Sears on the mound who is 0-2 allowing 15 hits and 9 runs in 14 innings and a 6.23 ERA. Mariners are starting Logan Gilbert who is 1-1 but won his last start vs the cubs 5-2 allowing 4 hits, 1 run and handing out 5 strikeouts.

A's aren't a good batting team overall and though the Mariners struggled in the opening of the series, I see them blowing up the A's tonight in a matchup that Gilbert should dominate in the first 5 inning, and with the Mariners being top 10 in batting average, they will be able to backup Gilbert successfully with a weaker pitcher on the mound for the A's. I'll take Seattle on the Run Line at Plus money.
