I’m on the Orioles Moneyline at home in this wild card series game 1 vs the KC Royals for these r reasons:

- CY Young 2021 winner Corbin Burnes will start the series out, and he’s been just day good this season especially in day games (6-2). Last outing vs the Royals he gave up 3 runs on 4 hits but threw only 4 strikeouts. One of the hits was a 3 run home run , so he was in line for having a no earned runs game beforehand.

- Cole Ragans is 4-4 on the road, and allowed 7 runs on 9 hits with only 4 strikeouts in his last meeting with the Orioles. He was benched within the first 2 innings, and though I do think he has a better outing, it won’t be a better start than Corbin will have.

- Bats on the Orioles side are SCARY; and much more fearsome than KCs. Orioles are batting .253 vs lefties this season, and with Henderson, Urias, Mounntcastle, and Rauschman all batting over .250, they will be the more lethal team at the plate
