Total: 7.00 | -102.00 Under
Result: Loss
I’m on the Under of 7.5 runs in this Game 4 of Dodgers / Mets for these reasons:
- Close out game potentially for Dodgers, but the Mets will be looking to atleast keep their hopes alive with better pitching today. The last loss was wild, for them to not score a run at all and get hammered for 8 runs in game 3. Jose Quintana is on the mound for the Mets tonight and he’s got a very good run rate, limiting damage and pitching for deep innings. We can count on him in his 5-6 innings to keep runs low, and buy time for their bats to get hot in a must win spot, or their bats stay cold and they lose a close series ending game.
- Yamamoto is on the mound for the Dodgers and he’s definitely the best pitcher in this game. He’s not giving up more than one run this outing, and he’s likely to pitch the most he’s done in a full game, tonight. He normally doesn’t get out of the fifth inning, but he’s liable to pitch so well, that he’ll sneak into the 6th inning. As I last stated, the bats are cold for the Mets, and Yamamoto isn’t the guy you can exactly get hot against. I personally think the Mets lose tonight, but it’ll be a low scoring, tight end.
Official Play: Under 7 runs
Side Bet: Dodgers Moneyline
Hail Mary: Jose Quintana over 3.5 Strikeouts
