I’m on the Mavs -2.5 on the road vs the Phoenix Suns for these reasons:

- Suns on a back to back, and they gave up a lead vs the Lakers to lose by 7. I don’t know what to make of them right now and I’m not taking them against a Mavs team that has picked up where the left off from last season, and are on the way back to a championship contending season.

- Matchups favor the Mavs, especially when you look at the bench talent (that I assume was also the reasoning they collapsed vs Lakers last night). Defensively there are more answers for the Mavs to slow down the Suns than there are for the Suns who just let the Lakers shoot 50% from deep, and shoot 39 free throws. 26 fouls in the first game of the season for the Suns is gross and I can see the Mavs shooting a lot of free throws today as well.
