I’m on the Pelicans Moneyline @San Antonio for these reasons:

- Pelicans have been playing well since Zion returned, beating the Clippers earlier this week in New Orleans, and keeping matches close in the road games played. Spurs are not on the same trajectory of competitive basketball vs rosters with more than 1 elite player. Beating the Mavs isn’t anything rave about, and only winning 3 Times overall in the beginning of the month, is also not sexy.

- D’Aaron Fox is out for the season, having finger surgery and it’s not going to help a team that already has issues scoring the ball. The Spurs are also having issues rebounding the ball and can’t stop creating second chances for the opposing team. This Pelicans team has many rebounders and are a bigger team than most, so I see Zion and company having no issues putting up 120 plus here on a team that could be quitting.
