BC comes into this game as a 2.5 point underdog as the line has moved towards the BC Lions. The questions surrounding BC is at QB as Nathan Rourke left BC to sign in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Vernon Adams Jr did well replacing Rourke after he was injured last season and went 2-1 against Calgary including a 31-29 win in Calgary and then a 30-16 win in the playoffs in BC.

Calgary is now starting Jake Maier at QB after Bo Levi Mitchell left to go to Hamilton in the offseason. Maier got benched during the playoffs last year against this BC team.

Maier struggled in the preseason while Vernon Adams Jr was fantastic. Preseason has to be taken with a grain of salt however I like the road dogs in this game.
