The Guardians are coming into this game playing very well recently as they have won their last 2 straight as well as 4 of their last 6 games. They are pushing to catch the Twins in 1st place of the AL Central as they are only 2 games behind and even their offense has been heating up recently as they have scored at least 5 runs in 3 of their last 4 games, scoring 8 runs in their last game. They are going up against a White Sox team that has been awful this season and in their recent games as they have lost their last 5 straight as well as 7 of their last 8 games. Their offense has not been great in a lot of those either as they have scored 4 runs or less in 3 of their last 4 games. The Guardians are also going to have Tanner Bibee starting here and he is 6-2 with a 3.04 ERA this season. He has been very consistent in his starts this season as he has allowed 4 earned runs or more in just 2 of his 15 starts this year. He has also been very good recently as he has allowed 2 earned runs or less in each of his last 5 straight starts, allowing 1 earned run or less in 4 of those. He will continue to pitch well here against this White Sox offense that has not been scoring a lot of runs recently as they have not been great all season. Dylan Cease is starting for the White Sox here and he is 4-3 with a 4.04 ERA this season. He has also been pitching well recently but he did allow 5 earned runs in his last home start and he has had a few bad starts at home this season. He also has a very bad bullpen behind him that has been allowing a lot of runs recently and the Guardians offense has been much better recently as they are scoring a lot more runs now. The Guardians have also been playing much better in recent games and they will be hungry to beat up on a bad division rival in this series as they try to catch the Twins in 1st place. The Guardians will win this game and continue rolling.
