The Brewers are coming into this game not playing very well recently as they were just swept by the Dodgers in their last series losing 3 straight games now and their offense has been awful in those as they have scored just 3 runs total in their last 3 games. They are going up against a Rangers team that has been heating up recently as they have won 2 of their last 3 as well as 4 of their last 6 games. The Rangers also have one of the better offenses in the league and have been on fire recently as they have scored at least 7 runs in 2 of their last 3 as well as 3 of their last 5 games. Brandon Woodruff is starting for the Brewers here and he is 2-1 with a 1.99 ERA this season. He has been very good in his starts this year but he has also made just 4 starts as he got injured after his 2nd start of the season back in April and just returned at the beginning of August. He has pitched well in his last 2 starts since coming back from injury but he still allowed 2 earned runs in each start and that was against much weaker offenses as well like the Pirates and the White Sox. Now he is going to face one of the best offenses in the league on the road here and the Rangers are going to be hungry to bounce back after losing their last game prior to their day off that they had on Thursday. Andrew Heaney is starting for the Rangers here and he is 9-6 with a 4.17 ERA this season. He has been very good in his recent starts as he has only allowed 1 earned run total between his 3 starts in the month of August and he even pitched at least 5 inning in 2 of those starts as well. He has also been much better at home recently as he has allowed 0 earned runs in each of his last 2 as well as 4 of his last 5 starts there. The Brewers already have one of the weaker offenses in the league this season and their offense has also gone cold recently as they have not been scoring runs while the Rangers have been scoring a lot and are starting to heat up once again as they try to keep their lead in the AL West. The Rangers will win this game at home.
