AMEDEUS' MLB FAST MONEY!
(MLB) Miami vs. LA Dodgers,
Money Line: -129.00 LA Dodgers (Home)
Result: Loss
The Marlins are coming into this game losing their last 2 straight games as they just lost their series at home to the Astros and they have been very inconsistent recently as they fight to keep a Wild Card spot in the NL. They are going up against a Dodgers team that has been on fire recently as they have the lead of the NL West once again and are just pulling away with it now as they have won their last 11 straight games. Their offense has also been great in those games as they have scored at least 6 runs in 3 of their last 4 as well as 4 of their last 6 games. Sandy Alcantara is starting for the Marlins here and he is 5-10 with a 4.09 ERA this season. He has not been bad in his recent starts but he has also been very inconsistent all season and has not been pitching well in his recent road starts. He has allowed at least 4 earned runs in 2 of his last 3 as well as 3 of his last 5 road starts and he is going to struggle against this Dodgers offense that is one of the best in the league this season and has been on fire recently. Tony Gonsolin is starting for the Dodgers here and he is 8-4 with a 4.24 ERA this season. He has not been great this year but recently he has been pitching much better as he has allowed just 1 earned run or less in 2 of his last 3 starts and has also been much better at home as he has allowed just 1 earned run in each of his last 2 starts there. He will continue to pitch well against this Marlins offense that has been losing steam in recent weeks and the Dodgers will continue to roll at home. The Dodgers will win this game at home.
