Crystal Palace is coming into this match off of a 1-0 win away from home against the newly promoted Sheffield United in their 1st match of the season. They dominated that match as they controled the possession and they did not allow Sheffield to get many scoring chances on that good defense either. Now they are going up against an Arsenal side that finished in 2nd place last season and they are coming into this match off of a 2-1 win at home against Nottingham Forest in their 1st match of the season. They dominated Nottingham for most of that match but they still allowed a goal late and allowed Nottingham to put a lot of pressure on them late in that match. Arsenal has done nothing but win trophies this season as they won the Emirates Cup against Monaco and the Community Shield against Man City before winning their 1st match of the season as well, but those 2 trophy wins both came in penalties after 1-1 draws as Arsenal has struggled to score goals recently with their attack, especially while missing their main striker Gabriel Jesus. Crystal Palace is no pushover at home either as they were a very good team there last season and have a very good defense that does not allow many goals when playing at home. They will make it very difficult for Arsenal to score away from home here but Arsenal also has a very good defense that will cause Crystal Palace to struggle creating scoring chances. This is going to be a low scoring and defensive match that stays under 2.5 goals.
