Florida is coming into this game with the challenge of taking on a much tougher Utah team on the road in the altitude. Florida has never played a game in Utah as a program and they normally never fly this far West for their games either. Florida was already struggling last season as they ended the year with a 6-7 record and their offense has taken a big hit this season with the departure of starting QB Anthony Richardson who has moved on to the NFL. Florida replaced him with QB Graham Mertz who played at Wisconsin last season but he is a severe downgrade for this offense this year and they are going to struggle to move the ball and score points in their games. They also have to battle the altitude here which they will not be used to and Utah is sure to have this game circled after losing in Florida 29-26 last season. Utah will be without their starting QB Cam Rising and their backup QB has also been dealing with injuries but this is still a very good Utah team with a lot more talent than Florida and even a Utah team with their 3rd string QB is good enough to win this game and cover the spread here at home.
