The Titans are coming into this game after missing the playoffs last season but they were very close to making it and they had a less talented team. They still have Tannehill as their QB who has proven himself as a solid option and they also have a very strong run game with Derrick Henry leading the charge, but last season they did not have much talent with their wideouts after trading away AJ Brown. Now they have replaced that gap with DeAndre Hopkins and he is going to be playing with a chip on his shoulder this season after the years he spent with the Cardinals. They are going up against a Saints team that has not been good since Sean Payton and Drew Brees left years ago. They were not that good last season and their head coach Dennis Allen has never had a winning season as a head coach in his career. They are still going to have a good defense and their offense has improved with a QB in Derek Carr, but Carr is nothing to write home about and he will still have to learn this new system with his new team. Carr is not going to come out slinging in this game and with one of their most talented players suspended in Alvin Kamara, they do not have a lot of talent left on this offense to keep up with the Titans. The Titans also have a good defense so they will keep this game very close if they are not leading it the whole time anyway. The Titans will cover the spread in this game.
