Arkansas is coming into this game off of a 56-13 win against WCU in their last game and even though their defense allowed 13 points, most of those points came late in the game. Arkansas has a much improved team this season as they made a lot of good moves with the transfer portal and they have a team that is ready to compete in the SEC this year. Their offense scored 56 points in their 1st game and a lot of that offense was through the air as their QB was slinging it. They are going up against a Kent State team that is coming off of a 56-6 loss in their last game, losing against UCF on the road. Kent State was good last season but they were completely raided in the portal with not many returning starters. They do not have a good team this season and they showed it in their 1st game as they only scored 6 points and allowed 56. That was on the road against UCF who is new to the Big 12 this year, now they are going on the road against a team from the SEC with a much better defense and a much stronger offense. Arkansas will be able to score 50+ points the way UCF did on them and if that Kent State offense only scored 6 points on the UCF defense, they are going to be lucky if they even score at all in this game. Arkansas will cover the spread in this game.
