Alabama is coming into this game after beating MTSU in their last game 56-7 at home and this Alabama team looked a lot different than the last few years. Alabama has once again traded in their offense from a finesse passing offense and now they are going back to their roots with great defense and a smashmouth running game that wears down defenses. They are going up against a Texas team that almost beat them last season in this matchup, but now Texas is facing a very different Alabama team on the road and Texas is also a very different team themselves. Texas struggled to score points in their 1st game against Rice as they won 37-10 and were stopped multiple times by Rice. Alabama has a much better defense to stop them with and now Texas is lacking a strong run presence as well after losing Bijan Robinson to the NFL. Alabama looked very good in their 1st game and they are going to run the ball down Texas all game wearing them down and that will open up the passing game for Alabama to really gash them with Milroe who threw the ball well when he did in their last game. Texas does not have the defense to stop Alabama nor do they have the physicality this season. Alabama is going to cover the spread in this game.
