Memphis is coming into this game playing very well in their first 2 games this season as they are 2-0 and have done what they need to do against the lesser teams they have faced. They won their 1st game of the season against BCU by 42 points and followed up with a road win over Arkansas State by 34 points. They are back at home for this game on national TV and it is also the 1st conference game of the season for them so they will be hungry to put on a show here at home and show how good they are this year. They are going up against a Navy side that is 1-1 this season and they have definitely been struggling in both of their games. They got destroyed by Notre Dame in their 1st game of the season, losing that game by 39 points, and they followed that game up with a win over Wagner but they only beat them at home 24-0. The new rules have really affected Navy in a negative way as their run game has not been as effective in their games and they have been forced to throw the ball more than they would. Navy was not able to do anything against the Notre Dame defense in their 1st game though and Memphis is no Notre Dame but they still have a very good team and will be hungry to remain the only team with a perfect record in the AAC this year. Memphis is going to cover the spread in this game.
