Cincinnati is coming into this game with a 2-2 record this season and they have not been playing well recently. They started the season well with a blowout win over Eastern Kentucky from the FCS and followed that up with a big road win against Pitt, but Pittsburgh is only 1-3 this season so that win looks a lot less impressive now, especially when they have lost their last 2 games. They were caught at home by Miami Ohio in a look ahead spot as they had Oklahoma on deck but they still blew many chances against a much less talented team which ended up seeing them lose at home. Then they went into the game against Oklahoma and played better defensively as they only allowed 20 points, but they still lost the game by 14 as their offense struggled a lot with turnovers and putting the ball in the end zone. Both of those losses were at home as well, now they are going on the road against a BYU team that is 3-1 this season and has been playing well recently. They are coming off of a tough loss against Kansas in their last game but they still scored 27 points in that 38-27 loss which was also their 2nd straight road game. They did get a big win against Arkansas on the road who plays in the SEC and now they are coming back home for their 1st ever home game in the Big 12 with the altitude advantage on their side as well. BYU will be hungry to bounce back here at home and they have a very strong offense that has scored at least 27 points in each of their last 3 games while Cincinnati has scored less than that in each of their last 3 games and they have not faced any tough defense other than Oklahoma who held them to 6 points. BYU is the better team and they are going to win this home game. BYU will cover the spread here.
