AMEDEUS' NFL IN THE POCKET PLAY!
(NFL) New Orleans vs. New England,
Point Spread: 1.00 | -109.00 New Orleans (Away)
Result: Win
The Saints are coming into this game with a 2-2 record this season but they have lost their last 2 games after winning their first 2 of the season. It all started in Green Bay when Derek Carr left the game injured with a 17-0 and the Packers went on to win that game 18-17. Then in their last game Carr came back as well as Alvin Kamara but they still lost at home to the Bucs 26-9. Their offense has definitely struggled in their first few games but they do have a very good defense that has been keeping them in games and has not allowed many points this year. Their defense will be hungry to bounce back here after allowing 26 points in their last game at home and the offense should be a lot better as well now that Kamara is in his 2nd game back and Carr has another game under his belt in this offense. They are going up against a Patriots team that has not been good this season as they are 1-3 and their defense has not been good. They have allowed at least 24 points in 3 of their 4 games this year and they are coming off of a complete blowout in their last game as they gave up 38 points. Their offense has also been awful as they have scored under 20 points in their last 3 straight games and ever since they scored 20 points on the Eagles in week 1, they have scored less points in each game since then as their offense has been regressing with Mac Jones. New England is in disarray right now with no real QB of the future and they are just not a very good team this season. The Saints also have a much better defense than the Patriots along with a lot more weapons on the offense. The Saints will cover the spread in this game.
