The Bears are coming into this game with a 1-5 record this season and they are coming off of a loss at home in their last game. They finally got their 1st win of the season against the Commanders in prime time which also came on the road but they followed up with a loss at home in their last game. They were playing a much better team in the Vikings in that loss but they were not bad in that game. They only lost 19-13 in a game that they had a chance to win but were derailed by an injury to Justin Fields which saw him leave the game. Tyson Bagent replaced him and ended up getting strip sacked for a scoop and score which was the difference in the game but he was driving at the end of that game to win it before throwing an interception and still played well for his 1st ever game in the NFL when the gameplan was not for him either. Now Bagent has a week to prepare for a game he knows he is starting in and he will play much better with a gameplan more suited for him with the confidence he has. Bagent is also playing for a possible starting position if he really impresses so he is going to be focused on having a great performance in this game. They are going up against a Raiders team that is 3-3 this season but they are definitely a false 3-3 as they have struggled to score more than 17 points in 2 of their wins and they also have an awful defense. Bagent is not going to have a tough time against this defense here at home and the Raiders have already been struggling on offense this year but now they are also dealing with an injury to their starter which could see the backup coming into this game or even starting it. The Raiders have won 2 straight games but they are not a very good team and that streak will come to an end in Chicago. The Bears will cover the spread in this game.
