Utah is coming into this game with a 5-1 record this season but they have been struggling heavily on offense in a lot of their games as their defense has been carrying them. They have also been a very different team on the road compared to at home as they are 1-1 on the road this season and have struggled in both games. They barely beat Baylor on the road 20-13 in a game that Baylor was missing their starting QB in and Utah even had to come back late. They also lost on the road against Oregon State a few weeks ago, losing 21-7 in that game. They are going up against a USC team that is 6-1 this season and has been winning a lot of games with their offense. Their defense has not been great but they have one of the best offenses in the country and they have scored over 40 points in 6 of their 7 games this year. They are also coming off of their 1st loss of the season in their last game as they lost on the road against Notre Dame 48-20. They are going to be hungry to bounce back at home here and they will be a lot more focused in this game as they are still undefeated in the Pac-12 since losing to Notre Dame was not a conference loss. They are also going to be very hungry for revenge here since they did lose to Utah twice last season, once during the regular season and again in the Pac-12 Championship, which were also their only 2 losses other than their bowl game last year. USC is going to be hungry to take advantage of a weaker Utah team without Cam Rising and as bad as the USC defense has been this season, Utah's offense will still struggle and not be able to take advantage of it.
