The Raptors are coming into this game off of a win in their 1st game of the season as they beat the Timberwolves at home 97-94. The Raptors have always been a tough team to beat at home as they were 27-14 at home last season compared to their 14-27 road record so it is no surprise that they managed to pull off a low scoring win at home in their season opener. Now they are going to be on the road though where they were awful last season and they are going up against a Bulls team that is much better than the Raptors this season. The Bulls are coming off of a loss at home against the Thunder in their 1st game of the season but the Thunder are also a much improved team over the last 3 seasons so the Bulls are going to be hungry to bounce back with a win here at home. There is always extra motivation in these games for the Bulls as well as DeMar DeRozan is taking on his old team. The Bulls lost 2 of their 3 games against the Raptors during the regular season last year but they did win their only home game against them by double digits. They also met up a 4th time in the play-in game for the NBA playoffs which was also in Toronto but the Bulls got the win in that game. The Raptors are worse off losing Fred VanVleet and they are still in their 1st season with a new head coach as well. The Bulls will bounce back and win this game at home, take the Bulls to cover the spread here.
