AMEDEUS' CFB THURSDAY THROTTLE!
(NCAAF) TCU vs. Texas Tech,
Point Spread: -3.00 | -106.00 Texas Tech (Home)
Result: Win
TCU is coming into this game with a 4-4 record this season and they have struggled against Big 12 opponents as they are only 2-3 in conference games. This is nowhere near the same team that went to the National Championship last year as most of those players left in the transfer portal and TCU has been left to find their way this season which they have been struggling to do with a number of different QB's leading the offense. TCU has also struggled on the road this season as their 1 road win came against Houston when they were struggling a lot prior to their bye week, but they have lost their last 2 games on the road now and they were big losses as well. They have lost 3 of their last 4 games with 2 of those being road losses in the Big 12 as they lost 27-14 against Iowa State and lost 41-3 against Kansas State in their last game. TCU also lost their starting QB Chandler Morris and even though Josh Hoover was not bad in their home win against BYU, he did struggle in his 2 road appearances as they lost both games by double digits. They are going up against a Texas Tech team that has lost their last 2 straight games but they were also starting Jake Strong at QB in those 2 games as he has not been good. They did play very well against Houston and Baylor though when Behren Morton was starting and he should be back for this game which will give a big boost to this Texas Tech offense against a TCU defense that has struggled to keep points off the board on the road this season. Texas Tech will bounce back in this home game and cover the spread here.
