The Chargers are coming into this game with a 3-4 record this season but they are coming off of a big win against the Bears in their last game and are a much better team than their record says. They have lost 2 of their last 3 games but they have also had a very tough schedule in that span as they have losses to the Chiefs and the Cowboys. They have taken care of business against the weaker teams in the league they have faced and they are going to be hungry for another win in this game since that will pull them back to .500. They are going up against a Jets team that is 4-3 this season and has been playing a lot better than expected with Zach Wilson leading the offense. They have been playing very well recently as they have won their last 3 games and their defense has been a big part of those wins. They have a shocking win over the Eagles in that span but their other 2 wins came against the Broncos and the Giants who have both been awful this season. The Jets have won their last 3 straight games and have a winning record up to this point, but they have also been overachieving with the way their offense has been performing and it is going to catch up with them in this game. Their defense will only be able to hold down this potent Chargers offense for so long as they have a lot more talent than the Jets do and the Jets defense, as well as they have played this season, will tire out as they have to stay on the field for longer periods of time. This is a big mismatch in talent and the Chargers are starting to roll now that they can taste that .500 record within reach. The Chargers will cover the spread in this game.
