FAU is coming into this game off of a great season where they went to the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament in March and lost in a very close game to San Diego State. FAU was a very good team last year with their defense and they are going to be hungry to improve even more this season now that they are in their 1st year of being in the AAC. FAU is also returning over 90% of their scoring as well as over 90% of their minutes played last season so this is till the same team that had so much success last season. They are going up against a Loyola Chicago team that was not very good last season. Loyola is not returning as many starters this year either as less than 75% of their scoring and minutes played are returning this season and this was already an awful team last year that finished 10-21 overall. Loyola is going to improve this season but they do not have the talent on their team to put up a good fight against FAU here and the defense of FAU will be key in this game as they will cause problems for Loyola shooting all night. FAU will cover the spread in this game.
