Texas A&M is coming into this game with a 1-0 record this season after beating TAMUC 78-46 in their 1st game of the season. Texas A&M was a very good team last season as they finished 25-10 overall and were 15-3 in the SEC. They are also going to be hungry to build on that season last year, especially when they should be a lot more improved this year. Texas A&M is returning over 76% of their minutes played as well as over 82% of their scoring from last season. They are going up against an Ohio State team that is also 1-0 this season after winning their 1st game of the season at home, but they also struggled to beat Oakland in their own building with a close 79-73 win. Ohio State really fell off the rails last season as they were 16-19 overall and were only 5-15 in their conference as one of the worst teams in the Big 10. They are also in a much worse position this season with around 40% of their minutes played as well as less than 40% of their scoring returning this season. Ohio State has a long way to go to re-establish themselves this year and Texas A&M is already coming off of a great season with a lot of returning starters and will be trying to hang onto their ranked position with a strong start to the season.
