The Jets are coming into this game with a 4-4 record this season and they have been playing much better recently with 3 wins in their last 4 games. They have a very good defense that has been keeping opponents to low scores which is going to help their struggling offense here. The Jets are coming off of a loss in their last game as they lost 27-6 at home against the Chargers but they were also playing against a much better Chargers team that is starting to heat up now after a poor start to the season. The Jets are going to be hungry to bounce back here and they are actually 2-1 on the road this season. They also love to run the ball which is a very good matchup for them as the Raiders have an awful defense that has allowed the most rushing yards in the league all season. The Raiders are 4-5 this season and are coming off of a win in their last game as they beat the Giants at home 30-6 after firing Josh McDaniels earlier in the week, but that win against the Giants is not very impressive considering the situation for them and what the Giants have done all season. The Raiders have still lost 2 of their last 3 games with an offense that has struggled to score more than 17 points in 2 of their last 3 as well as 3 of their last 5 games and now they will be playing against the best defense they have seen since the Lions in that span. The Raiders are going to struggle to score points on the Jets defense with their rookie QB while the Jets offense matches up well here. The Jets will win this game.
