The Chargers are coming into this game with a 4-5 record this season but they have been playing much better recently. They have won 2 of their last 3 games with both wins coming by double digits as they are starting to heat up now and they are coming off of a close 3 point loss against the Lions in their last game. The Chargers have been pushing to get over .500 this season and now that they are back to 4-5 after that loss, they will be hungry to bounce back with a win here, especially since they are playing a much weaker team. They are going up against a Packers team that is 3-6 this season and has not been playing well recently either. They have lost 5 of their last 6 games with their only win in that span coming at home against the Rams with Brett Rypien at quarterback. Their offense has not been very good this year as they have not scored more than 20 points in each of their last 7 straight games and have even failed to get to 20 points in 5 of those games. Their defense has also been struggling recently and they have not had to face many strong offenses either as they were in the middle of a string of bad games. Now their schedule is getting much tougher and even though they are at home here, they are not nearly as good as the Chargers. The Chargers have a much stronger offense that has scored at least 27 points in their last 3 straight games and they are going to be hungry to bounce back after the way they lost last week. The Chargers will cover the spread in this game.
