The Raiders are coming into this game with a 5-5 record this season and they have been playing much better since firing their head coach Josh McDaniels as they have won their last 2 straight games. They were also at home in both of those games though and they were playing against the Jets and the Giants who both have awful offenses and it showed in those games. Now the Raiders are going on the road and even though it will not be the 1st road start of his career for Aidan O'Connell, he is still going to have a much tougher time in this game since his only other road start was against the Chargers, a team that does not have a very strong home advantage, and now he is going up against a Dolphins team that has a very strong home advantage and one of the best teams in the NFL. The Dolphins are 6-3 this season and they are coming off of a loss against the Chiefs in Germany in their last game, but they have also had their bye week which they are coming out of so they have had extra time to sit on that loss to the Chiefs and prepare for this game as they will be hungry to bounce back. The Dolphins have struggled against some of the better teams in the league in their 3 losses but they have been very good at beating up on the bad teams as their last 4 wins have all been by 2 touchdowns or more. This is an awful spot for the Raiders on the road with a rookie QB who has only made 1 road start in his career, going up against one of the better teams in the NFL who is hungry to bounce back after losing in their last game prior to a bye week. The Dolphins are going to cover the spread in this game.
