Sacred Heart is coming into this game with a 2-1 record this season and they have a good team with a lot of returning players from last year that are trying to improve on the season they had. Their loss came on the road against Iona but they bounced back in their last game with a road win over Holy Cross. They are going up against a UMBC team that is 1-2 this season and has not been playing very well. UMBC was 18-14 last season but they are returning less than 10% of their minutes played as well as their scoring from last year and it has really shown in their first few games as their team has not meshed together well yet. They lost on the road by 1 point against Louisville who has one of the worst teams in the ACC and they also lost at home by 6 points to Marist. They are coming off of their only win of the season in their last game but they were also at home to Penn St York who is not even in Division I. Sacred Heart is a lot more ready to win now with so many returning players and they have the better team the way they have been playing in their 3 games this season.
