They are going up against a Pelicans team that is 6-7 this season and is coming off of very close loss at home by 1 point against the red hot Timberwolves. The Pelicans have been dealing with injuries recently but they have still been playing very well as they have won 2 of their last 3 games with wins against the Nuggets and the Mavericks as well. They have also been much better at home recently as they have won 2 of their last 3 games there. Even with their injuries, the Pelicans have been playing very well at home to beat some very good teams and they have the rest advantage here since they played on Saturday and have not had to travel in the middle of a homestand.
