The 76ers are coming into this game with a 12-5 record this season and they have been playing well recently winning their last 2 straight games. They have definitely struggled more to pull away in their last 2 road games though as they beat the Thunder by 4 points in their last road game and also lost to the Timberwolves just prior to that. They are going up against a Pelicans team that is 9-9 this season but they have also been dealing with a lot of injured players in their bench depth. Their team has been getting much healthier though and although McCollum is still out, a lot of their bench depth that they were missing early on in the season is back now. The Pelicans have also lost their last 2 straight games, losing both on the road to the Jazz, so they will be hungry to bounce back here at home where they have played much better all year. The Pelicans have actually won their last 2 straight as well as 4 of their last 5 games at home with their only loss in that span coming against the Timberwolves by 1 point. They also have some quality wins at home in those games as they beat the Kings twice, the Nuggets, and the Mavericks. The Pelicans are a very good team that plays much better when they are at home and now that they have a much healthier bench, they are going to be much better. The Pelicans will cover the spread in this game.
