The Falcons are coming into this game with a 5-6 record this season and they are currently leading the NFC South. They are coming off of a win in their last game against the Saints but that win also came at home where they have been much better this season. The Falcons have been awful away from home this season as they are 1-3 on the road and also lost their only game at a neutral location in England. They have lost their last 2 straight games on the road and their only road win this season came by 3 points against the Buccaneers. The Falcons have also been playing in close games all season whether being at home or on the road as they have a few wins and losses where the games were within 2 points. They are going up against a Jets team that is 4-7 this season and they have been awful recently as they have lost their 4 straight games. They only scored 13 points with Tim Boyle starting at quarterback last week but he is going to get his 2nd start here at home again and he has had some extra time to prepare having played that game on Friday. The Jets lost 34-13 to the Dolphins but the Dolphins are one of the better teams in the NFL this year and the Jets were right in that game until that unfortunate final play of the 1st half occured which totally deflated them going into the half. The Jets still have a very good defense and they are going to be hungry to bounce back at home after losing in 2 blowout games against division rivals who are much better. Now they are getting a much weaker team at home that has been playing in close games all season and has struggled on the road a lot. The Jets are also going to have some hope since Aaron Rodgers has been activated off the IR so they will have a boost in the locker room to stay competitive until he gets back. The Jets are going to cover the spread in this game.
