The Nuggets are coming into this game with a 14-7 record this season as they are currently sitting in 3rd place in the Western Conference. They are coming off of a loss in their last game against the Kings but they have still been playing very well recently as they have won 4 of their last 5 games. They have also been playing much better on the road recently as they have won 2 of their last 3 games on the road and have beaten some good teams in that span with wins against the Suns and the Clippers. They have actually beaten the Clippers twice this season already, once at home and once on the road, and that road game they won against the Clippers was a game that both Jokic and Murray were out for. They are going up against a Clippers team that is 9-10 this season and they continue to struggle in their games as they have lost 2 of their last 4 as well as 3 of their last 6. They have been very inconsistent recently and even in their home games they have lost 2 of their last 4 games there. The Nuggets are a team that matches up very well against the Clippers as they have already beaten them twice this season, including their last game on the road without their 2 best players in the lineup. The Nuggets are also going into the same building that just hosted an In Season Tournament game for the Lakers and will again on Thursday while the Nuggets have to sit by and watch so they are going to be hungry to win one of their few games they are playing this week, especially since they have had so much rest as well. The Nuggets have plenty of motivation here to win another game against the Clippers with their lineup getting much healthier with rest as well. The Nuggets will cover the spread in this game.
