Seattle is coming into this game with a 7-5 record this season but they have not been playing that well recently. They have been playing in some closer games but they have still lost 2 of their last 3 games. They have been struggling more during this span with a 3 point loss on the road to San Francisco and they followed that up with a 1 point loss at home against Washington in OT, but they also blew a huge lead in that game to go on and lose. Now they are coming off of a win at home against Louisiana Tech but they still needed OT to win that game as well. Seattle has not been as good on the road this season as they have lost all 3 of their road games and 1 of those losses was to a team with a losing record as well. They are going up against a UTEP side that is 8-5 this season and has been playing much better in their recent games. They have won their last 2 straight as well as 3 of their last 5 games, both of those losses in that span coming on the road. They have been much better at home this season as they have won 7 of their last 8 games there, their only loss coming in a close game against Texas A&M-CC. They have won their last 3 straight games at home since that loss and they are coming off of a win by 10+ points in their last game as well. UTEP will cover the spread in this game.
