Alabama is coming into this game with a 12-1 record this season and they also won the SEC Championship. They beat Georgia in the SEC Championship to earn their spot here but they have been struggling all season as there has been a few games that they did not play well in, struggling just to win. They are going up against a Michigan team that is 13-0 this season and beat Iowa in the Big 10 Championship. Michigan was a dominant team all season in their wins as they controlled their games from start to finish and never allowed many points in them. They have the best defense in the country for points allowed as they average less than 10 points allowed per game, and their offense also averages more points scored per game than this Alabama offense. Alabama also has a very good defense but it has not been as good as Michigan's and their offense has also been very inconsistent which will be key in this game.
