The Panthers are coming into this game playing very well in their recent games as they have won their last 5 straight games. Their defense has been great in those as they have allowed 2 goals or less in 4 of their last 5 games and their offense has also been great, scoring at least 4 goals in 4 of those 5 games. They are going up against a Golden Knights team that has been awful in their recent games as they have lost 5 of their last 6 games and are coming off of a loss in their last game as well. They were embarrassed in their last game as they lost to the Kraken 3-0 in the Winter Classic, but they are going to be hungry to bounce back here at home after getting shut out in that game and all 5 of their losses in that span were on the road as well. This is also a revenge spot for the Golden Knights since they lost to the Panthers 2 weeks ago in Florida, losing that game 4-2.
