Houston is coming into this game with a 14-1 record this season and they have been playing very well recently but they are coming off of their 1st loss of the season. They lost on the road against Iowa State and they were pretty much dominated from start to finish in that game. They lost by 4 points but that was also their 2nd road game of the season as they won their only other road game this year but only by 6 points against Xavier who is not that strong of a team. Houston is 1-1 in the conference and playing their 1st season in the Big 12 but now they are playing their 2nd straight road game and they are going to be tested here. They are going up against a TCU team that is 12-3 this season and has been playing very well in their recent games. They are coming off of a 9 point win at home against a ranked Oklahoma team in their last game and they have won 3 of their last 4 games with their only loss in that span coming by 2 points on the road against Kansas who is one of the best teams in the country. TCU has been tested against some quality opponents this season but they have also been a much more dominant team at home all season. TCU almost took down Kansas on the road and they followed up with a ranked win over Oklahoma in their last game but they are not going to stop there, especially with Houston being in their 1st year of the Big 12 and ranked as one of the best teams in the country. TCU is going to use this game as a statement game and they will hand Houston another loss here. TCU will cover the spread in this game.
