Northwestern is coming into this game with a 13-4 record this season and they have been playing well in their recent games. They have won 3 of their last 4 games but have not had the strongest schedule in that span. They have had 2 of those wins come at home against Maryland and Michigan State while their 1 road win in that span came against Penn State. They have not been as good on the road recently as they have lost 2 of their last 3 road games and they lost their last game on the road to Illinois by 8 points. They are going up against a Nebraska team that is 13-5 this season and has not been playing well in their recent games. They have lost their last 2 straight as well as 3 of their last 4 games. All 3 of their losses in that span have come on the road though and they just played 2 straight road games which they lost to Iowa and Rutgers, coming off of that loss to Rutgers in their last game which they lost by 5 points in OT. They are going to be hungry to bounce back here at home as they have been a very good team there all season. They have been dominant at home this year as they have won their last 5 straight as well as 11 of their last 12 games there, their only loss coming in a rivalry against Creighton, and most of their wins at home have been by 10+ points as well. They also beat Purdue in their last game at home so they have a lot of confidence playing at home and will be hungry to bounce back against a Northwestern team that has not been as good on the road.
