AMEDEUS' NBA HARDCOURT HAMMER!
(NBA) Milwaukee vs. Minnesota,
Point Spread: -4.00 | -106.00 Minnesota (Home)
Result: Loss
The Bucks are coming into this game with a 35-21 record this season but they have not been playing well in their recent games. They have lost their last 2 straight as well as 5 of their last 7 games and they have been much worse under their new head coach Doc Rivers as they are only 3-7 since he took over the team. They have been awful on the road in their recent games as they have lost their last 3 straight as well as 5 of their last 6 games on the road and they have some questionable losses in that span as well like their losses against the Grizzlies and the Trail Blazers. This is also a trend that has held true for them all season as they are only 12-14 on the road all season. They are going up against a Timberwolves team that is 39-16 this season and currently leading the Western Conference with the number 1 seed. They have also been playing very well recently as they have won their last 4 straight as well as 5 of their last 6 games. They have been dominant at home all year as they are 19-5 there and they are going to be hungry to come out of the break strong since they have a few teams in the Western Conference that are right on their tail. They have won their last 4 straight games by 10+ points with all 4 of those being on the road and that includes a 24 point win over the Bucks as well. The Bucks will be hungry for revenge here but they have not been the same team on the road this year and they do not have the defensive effort to keep this game close on the road against one of the better teams in the NBA right now. The Timberwolves are going to cover the spread in this game.
