They are still going to be motivated to win a tournament this season though and they are going to be turning their focus to this one. They are going up against a UCF team that is 17-15 this season and they were 7-11 in their conference. They beat Oklahoma State by 10+ points in the 1st round of their conference tournament but they followed up with a 10+ point loss to BYU in their last game. They have also lost 3 of their last 5 games as well. UCF also made their move to the Big 12 this season but they did not have a very good season against the stronger competition. South Florida is also going to get up for this game as this is a former conference rival and they are going to try to send them a message in this game.
