AMEDEUS' NBA SLAM DUNK!
(NBA) Cleveland vs. LA Clippers,
Point Spread: -3.00 | -115.00 LA Clippers (Home)
Result: Loss
The Cavaliers are coming into this game with a 46-32 record this season but they have been awful in their recent games. They have lost their last 2 straight as well as 3 of their last 4 games with their only win in that span coming against the Jazz. They have struggled to beat teams with winning records recently as they have losses to the Nuggets, the Suns, and the Lakers in their last 4 games, and they lost their last 2 games by close to 20 points each with Donovan Mitchell back in the lineup as well. They are not in a great spot here either as they are coming off of a loss against the Lakers and are playing this game on a B2B. They are going up against a Clippers team that is 49-28 this season and they are trying to hold down their 4th place spot in the Western Conference as it will be tough for them to move up anymore, but they definitely want to avoid sliding down as well. They have been playing better in their recent games as they have won their last 2 straight as well as 6 of their last 7 games. They have also won their last 2 straight games at home with a good win over the Nuggets and a win by close to 30 points over the Jazz in their last game. This is also a revenge spot for the Clippers since they lost to the Cavaliers in Cleveland earlier this season and will be looking to get them back here. The Cavaliers have been awful on the road recently even with Mitchell back in the lineup while the Clippers have been playing much better and are coming off of a win without Kawhi in their last game. The Clippers will cover the spread in this game.
