AMEDEUS' NBA SLAM DUNK!
(NBA) Atlanta vs. Chicago,
Point Spread: 3.50 | -115.00 Atlanta (Away)
Result: Loss
The Hawks are coming into this game with a 36-46 record this season and they were the last team to qualify for this play-in tournament with the lowest seed in this tournament. They have been awful to end the season as they ended the season with 6 straight losses, but they have also been missing their star player over the last few weeks and just got him back. Trae Young returned from injury and played in their last 3 games of the season which they still lost, but the team was really using those games to readjust with him back in the lineup. They are going up against a Bulls team that is 39-43 this season and finished 9th in the Eastern Conference. They were playing better in their games to end the season but not by much as the Bulls lost 3 of their last 5 games and still had a losing record like the Hawks to end the regular season. They were not any better at home either as they finished with a losing 20-21 home record this season, not much better than their 19-22 record on the road. The Bulls are going to be without one of their starters here and they have a lot of injuries as well as they are missing a lot of depth. The Hawks have not been playing well recently but this has not been the healthy Hawks team over the last few weeks and now that they have some key players back in the lineup, they are going to be much better in this game. They will also have some confidence as they actually won the last meeting between these two, winning by 12 points on the road back on April 1st and that was a game they were missing Trae Young in as well. The Hawks are going to cover the spread in this game.
