AMEDEUS' NBA HARDCOURT HAMMER!
(NBA) Oklahoma City vs. New Orleans,
Point Spread: -5.00 | -105.00 Oklahoma City (Away)
Result: Win
The Pelicans are coming into this game down 3-0 in the series and they are on the brink of elimination now. They have been the best road team in the NBA all season but they were not able to steal a road game in this series and they have actually been much worse at home as they are only 21-19 there this season, 21-20 with the loss from game 3 so they are barely a .500 team at home. The Thunder are 24-17 on the road this year and they have been dominant in this series with the last 2 wins coming by 10+ points. The Thunder have also been very hot recently as they ended the regular season on a win streak and have now won their last 8 straight games as they continue to gain momentum and confidence. This is not a place they have struggled in either as they won game 3 in this series 106-85 and also won both meetings against the Pelicans in New Orleans during the regular season. The Pelicans came their closest to winning a game in game 1 as they caught the Thunder by surprise and ended up losing 94-92, but since that game, their defense has not been able to contain this Thunder offense as the Thunder have scored 100+ points in each of the last 2 games in this series, and the Pelicans have not been good on offense themselves as they have not scored 100+ points in any of the 3 games in this series, struggling against that OKC defense. The Thunder have been improving a lot over the last 3 seasons and this is the season that they are finally here as a true threat in the NBA, they will have no problem pulling off the sweep against this inferior Pelicans team that is also missing one of their best player still. The Thunder will cover the spread in this game.
