AMEDEUS' MLB AL EAST TOTAL OF THE MONTH!
(MLB) Baltimore vs. Tampa Bay,
Total: 8.00 | -104.00 Over
Result: Loss
The Orioles are coming into this game playing in some higher scoring games recently. They are coming off of a 6-3 win against the Rays in their last game and they have seen 9+ runs total in each of their last 2 as well as 4 of their last 5 games. Their offense has been great in these games as well as they have scored at least 5 runs in 4 of their last 5 games. They are going up against a Rays team that has also been in some higher scoring games recently. They have seen 9+ runs total in 2 of their last 3 as well as 3 of their last 5 games, and they have seen 7+ runs total in all 5 of those games as well. Their offense has also scored at least 5 runs in 2 of their last 3 games and has been averaging over 6 runs scored per game in their last 5 games. Taj Bradley is starting for the Rays in this game and he is 1-3 with a 5.81 ERA this season. He has not been very good in his recent starts as he has allowed at least 5 earned runs in 2 of his last 3 starts and he allowed 9 earned runs in his last start alone, that start also coming against the Orioles just a week ago. He has been giving up a lot of runs and hits in his recent starts, only making it a little over 3 innings in that last start, and that is going to be a big issue here with the way the Orioles offense has been scoring in their recent games and all season. Kyle Bradish is starting for the Orioles in this game and he is 1-0 with a 3.18 ERA this season. Bradish was great in the month of May as he did not allow many runs in his starts, but he is coming off of his worst start of the season which he allowed 5 earned runs in. He allowed 5 earned runs and 7 hits in that game, and that was against the Rays just last week. The Rays have not been great this season, but their offense has been scoring more runs in their recent games and they are going to be hungry to put up more of a fight here at home against a divisional rival after losing 6-3 in the series opener. Both of these starters have been allowing a lot of runs in their recent starts while both of these offenses have been scoring consistently. Between these two sides, there will be enough runs in this game to push it over the total.
