AMEDEUS' MLB BOOKIE BATTER!
(MLB) Milwaukee vs. San Diego,
Money Line: -108.00 Milwaukee (Away)
Result: Loss
The Brewers are coming into this game with a 44-30 record this season and they have been playing very well in their recent games. They have won their last 2 straight, winning their last series against the Angels, and they have won 4 of their last 5 games as well. They are going up against a Padres team that is 38-40 this season and has not been playing well in their recent games. They are coming off of a win against the Phillies in their last game, but that win broke a 5 game losing streak they were on. This is a bad spot for the Padres since they had to fly back from the East for this game, and they have been much worse at home this season at 18-21. Adam Mazur is starting for the Padres and he is 0-2 with a 7.82 ERA this season. He has allowed at least 1 run in all 3 of his starts this season. He pitched better in his last start as he was coming off of a start which he allowed 8 earned runs in and only allowed 2 earned runs in his last, but he also failed to make it 4 innings in that start as well. The Brewers have one of the better offenses in the league this season so they are going to score runs on this rookie as he has not been great, and they also have the better bullpen to back them up as well. Bryse Wilson is starting for the Brewers here and he is 4-3 with a 3.84 ERA this season. He had a rough start a little over a week ago, but he bounced back from that bad start as he allowed no runs in his last start. The Padres have been in a slump recently, losing a lot of their games, and their offense has not been scoring runs either so the Brewers can shut them down here with their pitching staff. The Brewers also have the advantage being on the West coast already from their series against the Angels so they will continue to roll in this game. The Brewers will win this game.
