Utah is coming into this game with a 5-5-3 record this season and they have not been playing well in their recent games. They are currently on a road trip which started with a 4-3 loss in OT to the Golden Knights, but they followed up with a 3-0 loss in Winnipeg in their last game, a game they were shut out 3-0 in. They are going up against a Blues team that is 7-6-0 this season and has been playing much better in their recent games. They were going through a rough stretch themselves recently, but now they have won their last 2 straight games and have been starting to heat up. Their defense has been much better recently as well, allowing 2 goals or less in each of their last 3 games. They have also been playing much better at home this season as they have won their last 2 straight as well as 4 of their last 5 games there and their only loss in that span was against the Jets who are currently 12-1-0 to start the season. The Blues have been much better on defense in those games as well and that will be the difference in this game with Utah struggling to score goals recently. The Blues will win this game at home.
