UNLV is coming into this game with a 10-2 record this season and they were 6-1 in the conference. They have won their last 4 straight games and have been playing very well recently, but their last loss this season and only loss in the conference actually came against Boise State at home in a 29-24 loss. They are going up against a Boise State team that is 10-1 this season and they were 7-0 in the conference, but this time Boise State will have the home advantage. They have won their last 10 straight games with their only loss this season coming on the road by 3 points against Oregon who is currently ranked number 1 in the country and is still undefeated. They have also been dominant at home this season as they have won all 6 of their games there by 7+ points, winning 5 of those 6 games at home by 10+ points as well. Boise State has a very good run game that is averaging 253.5 rushing yards per game and 6.4 yards per carry as they are led by one of the best running backs in the country. UNLV does have a very good run defense that is only allowing 101.1 rushing yards per game and 3.2 yards per carry, but they still could not stop Ashton Jeanty in their last meeting as they still allowed him to rush for 100+ yards in Las Vegas. He will be more effective on the ground in this game at home and he is going to open up a lot for the Boise State passing game, and Boise State has had the much better passing game all season as well. Boise State has been great all season, but it means nothing if they lose this game and miss out on the playoffs so they are going to be highly focused here and will be pushing to put this game out of reach to try and earn a 1st round bye as well. Boise State will cover the spread in this game.
