The Chargers are coming into this game with an 8-4 record this season and they have been playing very well in their recent games. They have won 5 of their last 6 games with their only loss in that span coming against the Ravens, but they are coming off of a 17-13 win against the Falcons which they did not play well in. The offense struggled a lot in that game and the defense had to come up with the win, forcing 4 INTs and the game winning TD, but that was also against Kirk Cousins who has been struggling a lot in his last 3 games and the Chargers defense has not been as good recently, allowing 27+ points in 2 of their last 3 games. They are going up against a Chiefs team that is 11-1 this season and this was a defense they also struggled against earlier this season, losing 17-10 at home. The Chiefs have not been playing well recently as they have won 3 of their last 4 games by 3 points or less, the other game in that span being a loss to the Bills. They are coming off of a 19-17 win against the Raiders in their last game and that was a game they put themselves in another position to possibly lose on a late field goal, but the defense has shown up when they needed to and played much better in that game, holding the Raiders to 17 points. That game was on Friday so the Chiefs have a rest advantage here, and it is not going to be a warm night at Arrowhead either. The Chiefs already stifled this Chargers offense once this season and now the Chargers could be without their top WR here. They are also without their leading RB Dobbins and his absence hurt them on offense in their last game. The Chiefs are 11-1, but they are in desperate need of a good game after the way they have been winning the last few weeks, and this is a good spot for them to get that win in prime time and show why they are the B2B defending SB champions. The Chiefs will cover the spread in this game.
