The Rams are coming into this game with a 7-6 record this season and they have been playing very well in their recent games. They have won their last 2 straight as well as 3 of their last 4 games and they are coming off of a 44-42 win against the Bills in their last game. Their defense has not been good recently though, allowing 42 points in their last game and allowing 37+ points in 2 of their last 3 games as well. Josh Allen shredded them through the air in their last game and the 2 weeks prior to that they got ripped up on the ground by Kamara and Barkley. Their defense even made a bad Patriots offense look good as they had success moving the ball both on the ground and through the air. They are going up against a 49ers team that is 6-7 this season and at the bottom of the division, but they are still in this race for the NFC West and this is a game they have to have. A win here puts them level with the Rams for 2nd place in the division so they are going to get up for this game, and they have already lost to the Rams earlier this season so they will be coming for their revenge. The 49ers were in control of that game as well, but they blew it in the final minutes with some bad plays and will be hungry to get that game back now that they have the chance at home. They have not played well recently as they have lost 3 of their last 4 games, but their last 2 losses were tough games in cold environments and they are coming off of a 38-13 win against the Bears in their last game which will give them some confidence. The 49ers have struggled recently, but their defense played great against the Bears last week and they have been much better at home, even playing well in their loss to the Seahawks at home a few weeks ago. The 49ers have also won 2 of their last 3 games at home and this is a game they have to have or their season will be over. The 49ers will cover the spread in this game.
