The Knights are coming into this game with an 18-7-3 record this season and they have been playing well in their recent games. They have won their last 3 straight games and their defense has been great in these as they have only allowed 4 goals in that span, but they have also played 2 of those games at home where they have been much better this season. They are coming off of a 3-2 win against the Stars at home in a close game and also beat the Oilers there 1-0, getting both of the stronger opponents at home while their 1 road win in that span came against the Ducks who have been awful this season. They won their last road game against the Ducks 4-1, but they have struggled with weaker opponents on the road recently as they have a 2-1 loss to the Avalanche and a 5-4 win against a weaker Flyers team, both of those games going to shootouts as well. The knights are only 7-4-3 on the road this season compared to 11-3-0 at home so this has been a problem for them all season as well. They are going up against a Jets team that is 21-9-0 this season and has been playing much better in their recent games. They went into a bit of a slump after their very hot start to the season, but now they are heating up again as they have won 3 of their last 4 games. Their defense has been great as they have allowed 2 goals or less in 3 of their last 4 games, and they are coming off of an 8-1 win against the Bruins in their last game so they are going to have a lot of confidence from that win. Their offense has been much better as they have scored 4+ goals in 2 of their last 3 games and they have lost 2 of their last 3 games at home, but they are 10-3-0 there this season and have played their best in those games. The Jets have the confidence from that win in their last game and they already lost a close 4-3 game in Vegas earlier this season so this is a revenge spot for them as well. The Jets will win this game at home.
